Hi,
erstmal die Infos zum System:
LG Brenner 52x mit Firmware 1.00 (Standard)
Windows XP Pro SP1 + pre SP2 (jede Menge Hotfixes)
Nero v.5.5.10.28 Enterprise Edition (?!)
Ich habe mittlerweile 15 CDs gebrannt, von denen 7 kaputtgegangen sind (vielleicht auch mehr). Entweder sind die Progs samt Nero eingefroren oder der Brenner brach ab und zeigte einen ungültigen Brennstatus an. Bei einigen stand, dass bei einem Vegleich ein Fehler aufgetreten ist.
Ich habe bei den ersten Malen gemerkt, dass Nero nicht mit der üblichen hohen Prioritätet in Windows lief, das aber mittlerweile nicht mehr so ist.
Außerdem muss gesagt werden, dass zwar die CPU übertaktet ist, aber das System insgesamt stabil ist (prime getestet/ kein Absturz bis jetzt; nur Freezes)
Welches Problem liegt vor? Es kann doch nicht normal sein.
Bis auf das letzte Mal wurde nicht einmal überbrannt. (nur von Isobuster konvertierte Images sind gebrannt worden)
Ich selbst habe Nero in Verdacht...was ist denn ne Enterprise Edition?
Was denkt ihr? Am Brenner selbst liegts nicht, oder?
bitte helft mir !!! bald hab ich keine CDs mehr zum Testen

so ich habe folgendes gemacht:
1) Festplatte defragmentiert (einige Dateien gingen aber nicht -> Abbruch ?!)
2) Nero deinstalliert ... Nero Express v.5.5.9.9. von der mitgelieferten CD installiert
3) System um 200MHz runtergetaktet auf 1800MHz
neue Firmware für den Brenner habe ich nicht gefunden (gibts scheinbar noch nicht - noch zu neu der Brenner)
Hab dann versucht SVCD zu brennen (kein Überbrennen)...und wieder CD im Ar***
Was soll die Sch****???? Wieso klappts denn nicht?

Ich nehme die Brenner's immer als Secundary Master (Ausser in SCSI Systemen mit ATAPI Brenner; da mach ich Primary Master). Nimm das DVD Laufwerk mal erst ganz weg und mach Master mit dem Brenner.
Viele moderne Laufwerke die DMA Modus beherschen machen Schei*** wenn sie im PIO Mode laufen............
Den DMA Modus kannst Du einstellen bei XP wie folgt:
Rechtklick auf "Arbeitsplatz" dann "Eigenschaften" wählen, dritte Karteikarte "Hardware". Dann den Button "Geräte-Manager", suchst "IDE ATA/ATAPI-Controller", erweiterst durch klicken auf + zeichen; Doppelklick auf den entsprechenden IDE-Kanal (Primärer- oder Sekundärer IDE-Controller; je nach dem, wo Dein Brenner angeschlossen ist), dann die zweite Karteikarte "Erweiterte Einstellungen" - Gerät 0 = Master; Gerät 1 = Slave - eistelung wählen (DMA, wenn verfügbar).
Das Laufwerk wird so oder so erkannt; hat nix damit zu tun, sondern nur damit, wie das Laufwerk angesprochen wird.....
