AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core
2600 MHz @ 3200 MHz mit 1.44 Volt

Hi to all

Congratulations for the interactive pin guide :) , but i have some questions.

Have you got any AMD datasheet reffering the AM2 socket pin outs?? i've spent much time seeking in AMD's site , and i found only  till 939 socket pinout diagram. No trace of AM2 socket pinout diagrams :( .How you build up the guide? can you provide me some AM2 pinout diagram?

After reading through this pdf

http://www.amd.com/us-en/assets/content_type/white_papers_and_tech_docs/32559.pdf  (page 309)

+many tries at the interactive AM2 pin mode guide
+common logic

i ve concluded that VID pins 0-4 (VID 5 dont need it really) are the pins seen on the next picture.

Can you confirm these plzz??

Thnx in advance

I'm not sure what you like to do, because all possible ways to connect the VID pins to the neighbour VSS pins are already integrated in the SAM2 pinmod guide.
I also didn't find any pinout for Socket AM2 on AMDs sites, so I've tested these pins for the pinmod guide on my own.
Believe me, it wasn't easy at all, because the AMD Socket AM2 has a lot of pins ... :blubb:

omg how you located the area :D!!!!!!!

I did some testing and checked my spare AM2 cpu, pins. I found one more (see updated image above) -possibly usable- pin of Vss. In fact that was a gift to me cause to go from 1.2 to 1.4 i just need to ground the VID 3 and couldn't ground with the previous Vss pin. HOWEVER i typed -possibly usable- above, because when wiring from VID 3 to the Vss (2)  pin, you must be very very carefull not to touch the bare triangle area.I measured with multimeter and its  wired to some pins (possibly Vdd???)

Sure, there're a lot of VDD pins to get other Vcore combinations, but it's very difficult to connect the VID pins with these pins.
I don't like to give our visitors guides which could fry the processor :bomb: ;)
In this case I would prefer to use 1.55 Volt which is reachable with all processors.
