Sorry I can't really type in German, Aber Ich verstanden ein bisten deutsch. My Fragen is, lol parden my Genglish, I want to up the processor speed to about 1131mhz or so. I read the workshop stuff, but I'm still not totally sure how to do this. I have a K7133 NMC chipset motherboard with a sort of outa date BIOS and it has dip switches 2 of them w/ 6 each on each not sure what they are used for either. Anyhow, If i knife and pencil the picture setup the way it's decribed will it bee a 1131mhz 133mhz FSB? Or do I need to do BIOS stuff other then what is stated in the workshop?
Forgive my Ignorance for this is my virgin motherboard overclocking experiance.
Thanks in advance Kitjay21

If your Board does not create the 133 to FSB, because it has no 133 A Chip then must paint you the Bridge L1 and prepare if possible about the bios or Motherboard the Multi. That should not be possible so you must paint according to time instruction in the Workshop you a Multi.
And excuse please my English then I can this language not so good.

Well, as u could see - in exchange for their knowledge of the german tongue, people here have some difficulties with English!
Imho the answers to ur questions will be by far more precise if u post them in a forum , which's original language is yours (like www.xtremesystems.org)
Coming back to your questions, the Tbird gets (like the Palomino XP's) unlocked via connecting (all) l1 Bridges. (This is done with a (soft) Pencil on the T-birds). If your Motherboard supports that feature (-->RTFM ! ) u can freely choose every (relevant) Multi (usually from 5 to 12.5) Cutting and connecting bridges comes only into the game if ur Mobo doesn't offer any choice for Multis.
If ur MoBo supports FSB adjustments, u might want to go for that (because increased FSB means higher Bandwidth and increased Overall Performance) This is a nonlinear effect in addition to the increase in Clockspeed.
So, if you can choose how to increase the Clock speed of ur Sys, u should preferably reduce the Multi (if necessary) and increase the FSB to the highest stable rate. (that ur Rams can bear)
You are aware that the boost in Performance will be relatively minor compared to one of the newer XP's? (if ur board supports that, u should definitaly go for a new CPU (Duron - or XP). The page of the manufacturer of ur Board should list the processors that work.
btw - Welcome to OC-Inside!

MajorTom, i do not have any diffculties with the english language .... weird, hu ? Bitte verallgemeinere nicht so, danke !
Else, i think that MajorTom gave you a good description of how to overclock your processor. If your board supports other cpus than your current one i'd say you should buy a new one ... just to confirm MajorTom's suggestion

@ xelios if he buys a new then wants to clock it it presumably again, or? The instruction for the Duri was written. Now he must decide simply what it does.

I wrote here cause i understand a little german Ich wohnen im Huettigen aus der Eifel for vier jara, as you maybe able to tell I cant type really well in German. My next question is my FSB is that in the Bios under the CPU host/Host/spread spec? becasue I did notice my RAM going up to 146 and my CPU to 976 stable. I do have my computer set up to 1005mhz by jumper switches close to the CPU and the set up of 100/33/.5 If i play w/ the dip switches I can get the CPU down to 500mhz up to 1050, however my CPU will not work at 1050, I boot up and once it get's past the DMI update.. loads windows right before the screen come up then stops.... but works ok at 1Ghz, however it seems to not work that well... maybe it's just me.
