Ein Ausdruck des Beitrags mit 4 Antworten ergibt bei 3 Antworten pro Seite ca. 2 DIN A4 Seiten. Das entspricht bei 80 g/m² ca. 9.98 Gramm Papier.

If you want to use the 256MB Version, look at the mem speed! If the memory is clocked at 600Mhz (some cards do only have 500Mhz mem) its OK and the card may is 5%(?) faster than the 128MB version.

Power consumption...the 128Mb needs 27W. 256MB will need maybe 30-32W or so.

I guess you are right. It should be 500/680 MHz

i think there is only a little difference. (not sure)

why do u want to take the 256mb version? the 128mb version is faster.

Hi

I am building a small game PC (that use a 150w DC-DC converter board). Based on an article I have decided to use a 9600 XT graphics card due to the low power consumption, however I am uncertain whether to use a 128 or 256 MB version.

Will the 256 MB version generate any significant increase in the current on the 3,3V or 5V power rails compared to the 128 MB version (appr. how much) ?
