I can use OVERVOLT jumper pn A7V8X to add +0,2V now. It does not appear in the voltage selection in the BIOS screen. It only shows the result in the hardware monitor BIOS screen. Currently I run 1800+ T-bred A at 1,70V to get about 1873MHz. I am a bit afraid to go beyond 1,8V (P4 Sudden Death Syndrome).
But I did try +1,9V but the PC won't boot. In the BIOS Hardware monitor screen, it shows 1,90V in RED!

your mainboard can add +0,2v only, there are differences between the boards/manufacturers, so if u paint 1,7 u`ll be able to increase up to 1,85

Yes, NWD, I live in Nederland (Den Haag). I bought this CPU from www.gistron.com last week for Euro 79,61
For my case, this CPU is strange that it does not respond to the increase in Vcc. Or is it not high enough (1.7V about +0.2V from default)?

u have to "paint" the vcc higher on the cpu, e.g. 1,7v and then u`ll be able to select higher voltages

hmm strange .. i dont know the T-Bred steppings ..
maybe it is just a bad one and thats the limit
you said it is watercooled ? try the painting guide and the full of 1,85 Volts ..
and by the way: Garantieziegel - is it dutch or something like that ?

Points to note on A7V8X and AMD 1800+ T-bred A:
1. A7V8X Bios have only +1.5V to +1.7V to select
2. Overvolt jumper has no effect on Vcc at all
3. CPU does not repond to the increase in Vcc. I give it 1.7V still can't go any faster than 1.5V.
Any comment, please?

But at least, I got a virtual XP2200+ at 1.5V default on A7V8X. NOT BAD BUT NOT SATISFIED. My last 1600+ AGOIA-Y could go upto 1997 MHz before it's dead for no reason.

Thank you. It works without unlocking. But this is the max that I could get right now at +1.5V default on A7V8X.

mmh the painting guide is a little bit irritating ..
if you set a 11,5 x 133 you get the same layout as in the picture
but if you set "Unlock" its only shown the last Bridge connected :confused:
but u can try it .. just select another multi and see if it works ..

its already unlocked, so you should be able to select multipliers up to 12,5
