wants 2 set a static multiplier on the cpu ;)

@rick: cut the bridges with a knife and close the others with sll 2 achieve a higher multi or try something like 11 X 166 ;)

sorry but i think your englisch is not really easy .. ..

i dont know that Unlocking - Kit..

Hey there. Just picked up an Athlon XP 2100+.  Just wanted reassurance that all I need to do if I want a 14x multiplier is change the L3 bridges accordingly  (-- denotes bridge):

Change:

L3
O
O O
O O
O--O
O--O

To this:

L3
O
O--O
O O
O O
O--O

I purchased this Athlon unlocking kit to close the 1st L3 bridge (did I make a decent choice?).

Other than a knive to cut the 3rd bridge, am I good to go for a 14x133FSB=1862MHz Athlon XP 2100+??

Any comments, suggestions, etc. would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!!

Rick
