help me! i'm running a tyan tiger mp with a couple new athlon 2600+ mobiles. they are the locked type as they were manufactured post '03. they boot nicely at 800 MHz in 2way config however, when i boot to windows i am unable to change the frequency multiplier via software. the 800 MHz is 133x6 which is the startup frequency set via the l3 bridges/lock. it appears that when i try to change the multiplier that the multiplier changes but the FSB lowers to keep the core clock at 800MHz. this is terribly annoying. for example, when i try to raise the multiplier to 15 (the cpu default max) the FSB changes to something like 53MHz and the core clock is stuck at 800. any suggestions?
