hm, I think Comec, an other user (selling 2600+ mobiles) is using one of his mobiles at: 200*13,5 stable... :noidea:

-- Veröffentlicht durch Elysium am 22:55 am 15. Mai 2004 I was mainly after the front side bus speed on the 3200+. When I got my 2800+, I immediately tried raising the fsb past 190. Apparently it would only allow me to do 195 fsb...and quite to my surprise, it was stable. Currently I am just doing 195x12.5.

All cpus since week 39 in year 2003 should be locked. So you have to buy an older cpu or a mobile cpu (mobiles are unlocked and in most case very good for overclocking--> 2600MHz with 1.8V are often possible, some cpus can go 2800-2900Mhz with ~2V).

So, I'm not too pleasantly pleased with the 2800+. I'm going to end up buying the 3200+. The question is...should I get retail or just the oem chip? Which would have a better chance of being unlocked?
