first let your multi @ 8.5 and raise your fsb to the highest possible (stable) value. then raise your multi to 9, 9.5 , 10 ... if you reached your max. multi. lower your fsb to a value where multi max. +0.5 and your fsb is the same than the max. mhz speed. then raise your fsb and if you reach your max. congratulations this is absolutely your highest MHZ value on your system.
ps. raise your vcore to 1.85 first

Zitat von Palmersquall am 18:32 am Dez. 29, 2003 Ok i have the B model at 100fsb. Is it still possible to run it at 133 fsb because i have a VIA Apollo kt133 Chipset and 133 Micron sdram?
What should i start with? a FSB at 105 and a multiplier at 10? or fsb 100 and multiplier at 10 I read that having a higher fsb will allow more bandwidth. I would like a 1000mhz system Thanks

using a FSB of 133MHz is usually not supported by the KT133. 133MHz is guaranteed by the KT133A and newer (KT266, KT266a...)
i would raise the multi, up to 10 at first. increase the VCore to 1,85V and hope it works this does not stress die AGP and PCI, only the CPU an ur cooling-unit (copper-based or full-copper coolers r really "useful"

you need to change the vcore when your frequenzy is too high and there is only a black screen or at booting there is an error or when you are one minute in windows and it reboots automaticly
the differenz between the B and C is that the B only has a standard fsb of 100MHz and the C a standard fsb of 133MHz!

Hi, Ihave a ASUS A7V jumperfree PC133 AGP Pro/4x mobo. 850 Tbird 100fsb 256megs of ram Geforce 2
I built this computer a few years ago, but since its getting old. I would like to get the most i can out of it. I am new to OC but i think i know enough to get the job done.
Right now i only have the FSB overclocked at 105mhz This is giving me 893mhz
My current setting is 895MHz: 8.5x Multiplier, 105MHz FSB, 140MHz DRAM My I/O Voltage setting is default at 3.56 and my Vcore is default at 1.75
I was thinking about changing the multiplier settings tomarrow but im not really sure where to start at. Will i need to change the Vcore? what multiplier setting/fsb setting should i use to get the fastest speed? Any tips/info would be helpful
Thanks.
