Problem:
Mute the annoying beep or melody or button tone of the microwave.

Description:
And it does work!
If you look in the manual of your microwave or call the manufacturer of your microwave, you will probably get the answer that it is not possible to deactivate the piezo buzzer or beep of your microwave.
So also two employees of the technical support of LG told me that the sound deactivation is not possible, neither over a key combination, nor over a hidden service menu and in Germany no microwaves have this function, but at most a few in the USA.
And that's exactly where I found how to turn off the annoying beep or deactivate the melody and the button sound on an LG microwave, if you want to.

Solution:
On an LG MH6535 GIS microwave, simply press and hold the Stop/Clear button on the bottom left and then press the Auto Inverter button to do so until Off appears on the display.
Et voila, the microwave is mute :godlike:
By the way, you can activate the sound of the microwave again in the same way

Note:
The instructions are for informational purposes only and are only meant to show that it is possible to deactivate the sound, which is annoying, but nevertheless also has a certain reason to exist.
