go to the pinmod-guide. see, how 1,5v would look like (2 bridges) you already have those wired on your cpu, haven't you? check out 1,6v or 1,7v. you'll see that this is one additional wire to 1,5v wiring. you only need to add this one wire into your socket as simple as that, only digital logic after all

in the Tbred B pin mod guide, it says i must "cut the L11 bridges, or you'll just be able to build a higher vcore"
this is confusing. i want to RAISE the Vcore of a cpu from 1.5v to 1.725v. can i just connect the pins on the CPU SOCKET as the pin mod guide says, or do i also have to cut the L11 bridges?

OK, but if you have silent hands, you switch the pc off, open the tower, get the cpu cooler, take off the cpu, connect the pins you want and do the first steps in reverse order. it take me 10 minutes to give my 1700+ a new multi and voltage

Yes the pin mod is better, but not easier. You need a "not shaking" hand to do this... I needed for connect 2 pins 1h...lol

its not easy to cut the bridges, whatever you wanted to do, better try the interactive pin mod, this is more easy and does it even too.
First of all, thank you for a great website. I am trying to up the voltage on my 2500+. I am trying to cut the L11 bridges. One is already laser cut. The rest I am cutting with an exacto knife. I've cut fairly deep... but there has been no effect. Can anyone who has cut them give me some help? does the cut have to be precise between the golden circles, or can it be a line through all of the bridges? The guide said .5-1mm thick, I think Ive done that...
