Thanks very much for the rapid response, even if your news was not what I was hoping for.
My motherboard is not yet bought and is any micro ATX Socket 939 mobo that has Firewire capability. A note to the manufacturer of the most capable one (Foxconn) showed they do not plan to add either Vcore or Vdimm control to the BIOS. I have tentatively concluded that keeping mATX mobos anemic is a business decision for motherboard manufacturers. They want to sell them to their traditional markets at a lower price than their ATX mobos yet they don't want the smaller motherboards to cannibalize the market for the larger ones. I do not see this situation changing.

There is no method known to raise te Voltage with a wire trick I would suggest to you to look for another Bios I cant't imagine that you don't have any posibilities to change the voltage in Bios whats your MB?

I need to raise Vcore on a Socket-939 mobo that has no control in BIOS. Can I connect pins/put a wire in the socket the way that works on Athlon XP's? Is there a guide on this site somewhere?
Thank you.
